Buying Tokens

For advanced traders, please use the following format to buy tokens /buy token_address/token_ticker near_amount

Type /start and your wallet should come with the latest balance you have.

If you would like to send more NEAR or wNEAR to your wallet, follow the Depositing NEAR to learn more.

After you have sent NEAR or wNEAR to your wallet, use the Refresh button to get your wallet's latest balance.

To buy tokens with your resting NEAR balance, press the Buy button.

Upon receiving this message back, reply with the token that you are trying to buy. For example, if you are trying to buy the $BLACKDRAGON token, you could either use blackdragon.tkn.near or $BLACKDRAGON to go ahead with the transaction.

Depending on how many tokens you are trying to buy, press one of the buttons:

  • Buy 1 NEAR: Buy 1 NEAR worth of the token

  • Buy 10 NEAR: Buy 10 NEAR worth of the token

  • Buy 50 NEAR: Buy 50 NEAR worth of the token

  • Buys X NEAR: This will ask how much you are trying to buy. Respond with the NEAR amount that you are trying to buy the token with

  • Cancel: Cancel the transaction in case you would like to do something else

The bot will send a couple of messages, describing the purchase. This will involve wrapping NEAR into wNEAR, as most liquidity pools use wNEAR, then identifying the appropriate pool and executing the buy order for the specified amount.
